Who am I?

Music has always been an integral part of my life, and my love for it spawned at my very first piano lesson many years ago. The piano remains my primary instrument, but over time, I branched out and discovered the strange and exciting world of synthesized music. Discovering that I could generate sound and arrange music through computer programs blew my 10-year-old mind.

When my piano instructor determined that I had perfect pitch, I wasn't sure what to think, so I kept making music as usual. As I grew older and music lessons grew tougher, I came to realize what an incredible blessing the ability was for a musician, and it (along with my passion for electronic composition) drove me to pursue a degree in music.

I entered the Music Technology program at Wayne State University and emerged four years later with a shiny Bachelor of Music degree. During my time at Wayne State, I was exposed to many incredible opportunities, including performances with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra as a member of the Wayne State University Concert Chorale and participation in the Electronic Music Ensemble under the direction of Joo Won Park.

With his blessing and guidance, I composed a six-track EP for my Music Honors thesis as the culmination of my study at the university. Through the music, I hoped to pay homage to another prominent form of media during my childhoodvideo games. Growing up, artists like Rich Vreeland (Disasterpeace) and Daniel Rosenfeld (C418) made me realize the captivating power of music combined with an interactive art form.

I aspire to continue my growth as an artist in order to capture that power within my music.
